DRS Program Overview

One mission. Many ways to serve.

Disaster Response Services (DRS) builds a connected ecosystem of programs that train,
support, and protect communities before, during, and after emergencies. Each division
focuses on a different part of readiness — from lifesaving medical instruction and
community preparedness to field support, youth outreach, and human-centered technology.

How the programs work together

DRS is designed as a connected system, not a collection of unrelated projects.
Training supports outreach. Outreach strengthens readiness. Technology helps organize
and scale those efforts. Mobile operations bring them directly into the field.

For communities

Residents and families gain practical training, more local support, and clearer
pathways into preparedness before emergencies happen.

For volunteers

Volunteers can step into meaningful support roles across education, outreach,
logistics, media, and community readiness.

For partner agencies

DRS offers flexible support that can complement local response, training,
communications, and preparedness efforts.

Future expansion programs

DRS is also building toward new capabilities that can expand support for people,
responders, and animals during disasters and high-impact incidents.

In Development

Animal Emergency Services

Planned animal ambulance-style support for pets and working animals affected by
wildfires, evacuations, and other emergencies.

  • Emergency transport and care concepts
  • Coordination with shelters and veterinary partners
  • Integration with DRS field and trailer operations

In Development

Extreme Off-Road Support Vehicles

Specialized vehicles designed to move equipment, TECC kits, field staff, and
future communications hardware into terrain where standard vehicles cannot go.

  • Wildland and off-road access support
  • Equipment movement for fire and rehab operations
  • Support for future field communications and mesh deployment

Train with us. Partner with us. Deploy with us.
